USB Memory Stick
Visual Mock-Up
We create high-quality digital mock-ups of your branded USBs so you can visualise the final product with confidence. Your artwork, on your chosen drive, in your colours, prepared by our graphics team before you commit to anything.
Request a quick quote, send us your logo and your visual proof comes back with your quotation as a JPG you can forward for sign-off. It shows the exact print position and size on the drive, the shell colour and the Pantone references for every printed colour, so what you approve is what the factory produces.
Mock-ups are free, revisions are free and there is no obligation to order. Compare two or three USB styles side by side before you decide, and nothing goes to print until you have approved the proof in writing.

Free USB Memory Stick Visual Mock-Up
Ordering branded merchandise you have never seen is an act of faith, and nobody should have to take one with their own logo. That is why every quote we send can come with a free visual mock-up: an image of your actual artwork, positioned on your chosen USB stick, in your colours, prepared by our graphics team before you have spent a penny or committed to anything. Request your quote on this page, send us your logo, and the mock-up arrives alongside your quotation. There is no charge, no obligation, and no catch - a good share of the people who request one are still deciding between suppliers, and we would rather you decided with the evidence in front of you.
What a Visual Mock-Up Shows You
A proper mock-up is more than a logo pasted onto a product photograph. Yours shows the specific drive style you are considering, the shell colour it will be supplied in, and your artwork at the size and position it will actually be printed or engraved - which matters, because the print area on most USB sticks is only two to three centimetres across, and a design that looks generous on screen behaves differently at that scale. Where your order is screen printed, the mock-up lists the Pantone references for each print colour, so what you are approving is defined by number rather than by how the image happens to render on your monitor. If the drive is being printed on both sides, both sides are shown.
How to Get Yours
The process was designed to add nothing to your workload, and it genuinely does not.
- Request a quick quote and send your logo. Use the quick quote form further down this page, or the one on our request a quote page, and tell us you would like a mock-up. Send your logo to your account manager, whose details come back with your quotation. Any common image format is fine to start with; vector files (.AI, .EPS, vector PDF) produce the most accurate result, but send what you have.
- Receive two files with your quote. Your quotation arrives as a PDF, and your mock-up as a JPG image - deliberately, because a JPG can be dropped straight into an email, a slide deck or a group chat when someone else holds the sign-off.
- Tweak it until it is right. Logo larger, shell darker, strapline removed, different drive entirely - revisions are free and turned around quickly. This is the cheap stage to be demanding at, and we would rather field five rounds of comments now than one complaint after delivery.
Why Proofing Before Production Matters
The mock-up is not decoration; it is the production reference. Nothing goes to print until you have approved the visual in writing, and the factory then reproduces what you approved - same artwork, same position, same Pantone references. That discipline is the reason reprints are vanishingly rare on our orders, and it protects you against the mistakes that actually happen in this industry, which are rarely exotic: the previous version of a rebranded logo going to print because it was the file someone had to hand, a strapline that is perfectly legible on a letterhead and illegible at two centimetres, or a navy logo disappearing against a black shell. Every one of those is caught at the mock-up stage, where fixing it costs nothing.
There is a self-interested reason we insist on it, too: an order that was proofed properly is an order that arrives as expected, and customers whose orders arrive as expected come back. The proof is where both sides get certainty before money changes hands.
Use Mock-Ups to Compare Styles and Colours
The hardest question in promotional USB buying is not "which supplier" but "which drive" - and it is nearly impossible to answer in the abstract. The same logo can look corporate on a white Twister, premium engraved into a walnut drive, and lost entirely on a shell too close to its own colour. So do not limit yourself to one: ask for mock-ups of two or three drive styles, or the same drive in different shell colours, and choose from evidence. It takes our studio minutes per variation, and it settles internal debates faster than any meeting. Buyers torn between the entire USB range can tell us the shortlist and let the mock-ups do the arguing.
For Agencies: A Proof You Can Put in Front of a Client
If you are a marketing agency or events company buying on a client's behalf, the mock-up earns its keep twice. The JPG is client-ready as supplied - drop it into the campaign deck, get sign-off in writing against a specific image, and the approval chain that usually makes merchandise orders drag becomes one email. When the client inevitably asks to see it "in the other colour", that revision is free and fast. Several agencies use our mock-ups at the pitching stage, before their client has even approved the campaign; we are relaxed about that, because pitches that include a visual tend to become orders.
What a Mock-Up Cannot Show
In fairness, two limits are worth stating. A screen image cannot convey physical texture - the soft-touch rubber of one drive, the grain of a wooden one - and no two monitors render colour identically, which is exactly why the Pantone references printed on the proof, not the on-screen colours, define what the factory produces. If your order involves a Pantone matched shell, the same principle applies: the number is the contract. And for fully bespoke moulded drives, the process goes a step further than a visual - you approve a physical pre-production sample before the run is manufactured, because a sculpted product deserves to be judged in the hand.
What If Your Logo File Is Not Print-Ready?
Send it anyway. A crisp vector file makes for the most faithful mock-up, but a surprising number of orders begin with a JPEG grabbed from a website, and our studio can usually redraw a simple logo as vector artwork - we will tell you honestly if yours is too complex for that before anything is charged. If you have no logo at all, give us your wording, preferred font and colours and we will set the artwork from scratch. The artwork guidelines cover the technical detail for those who want it, but the guidelines are for reference, not a gate: the fastest route is always to send what you have and let us look at it.
Approval and Timing
One practical note that saves deadlines: the production clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you request the quote. A mock-up answered the same day keeps your delivery date exactly where the quote put it; one that sits unread in an inbox moves it. If your event is close, say so when you send the logo - mock-ups for express orders are prioritised, and your account manager will tell you plainly what approval time the deadline requires.

Frequently Asked Questions
Nothing. The mock-up is free with every quote, revisions are free, and requesting one places you under no obligation to order. Many people request mock-ups while still comparing suppliers, and we are comfortable with that.
Request a quick quote using the form on this page and tell us you would like a mock-up. Send your logo file to your account manager, whose details come back with your quotation, and our graphics team prepares the mock-up and sends it alongside your quote. There is no separate process and nothing extra to fill in.
Two files: your quotation as a PDF and your visual mock-up as a JPG, showing your artwork at print size and position on your chosen drive and shell colour, with Pantone references listed for printed colours. The JPG format is deliberate, so it can be forwarded to a colleague or client for sign-off.
Yes, as many as you need. Resizing the logo, changing the shell colour, switching drive style or removing text are all quick, free revisions. The mock-up stage is the right place to be demanding - changes cost nothing here and everything after production.
Yes. Tell us your shortlist and we will produce mock-ups of two or three drive styles, or the same drive in different shell colours, so you can compare them side by side before deciding.
Yes - the approved mock-up is the production reference, and the factory reproduces the artwork, position and Pantone colours exactly as approved. Monitors render colour differently, which is why the Pantone references stated on the proof, rather than the on-screen appearance, define the printed result.
Usually not. Send it with your quote and our studio will assess it: simple logos can generally be redrawn as vector artwork free of charge, and we will tell you before anything proceeds if yours needs more work than that. Customers with no logo file at all can supply wording, font and colours instead.
No. Nothing is manufactured until you have approved the mock-up in writing and confirmed your order. If you take the mock-up away and choose another supplier, you owe us nothing - though we would naturally rather you came back.
